Agroservice Altenburg Waldenburg e.G. offers a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician starting on 01.08.2026. Apprentices inspect and repair electrical, electronic and mechanical systems and work with computer-assisted measuring and testing systems. Further training content includes vehicle repair, replacement of defective parts, exhaust emission tests and the installation of additional equipment such as trailer hitches, auxiliary heaters or air conditioning systems. Requirements are a lower secondary school leaving certificate, technical understanding and an interest in mathematics, physics and vehicle technology. Agroservice Altenburg Waldenburg e.G. is looking for reinforcement for its DAF contract workshop in Kriebitzsch as an automotive mechatronics technician or mechanic for trucks and commercial vehicles. The duties include fault diagnosis and repairs on DAF trucks and other brands as well as service, brake and maintenance work on modern commercial vehicle technology. A completed apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification and a category B driving licence are required; initial professional experience in the truck/commercial vehicle sector is desirable. The employer offers a permanent employment contract, performance-related pay, DAF training and induction within an experienced team.
